On June 23rd 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, the signing of MOU cooperation between Nong Lam University – HCM City and IEG Vietnam – representative of iGroup Corporation in Vietnam – was carried out in order to provide the online English course – Connected English – for learners in the university.

In the period of global integration, Nong Lam University – HCM City is particularly concerned about the quality of the future workforce. Beside providing adequate trainings on the major subjects, the university also actively plans to improve the language proficiency of both students and lecturers. Providing students with sufficient knowledge and skills for future career is the most important aim of the university.

With vocational focus in order to meet the requirements of the society and the development of the country, Nong Lam University – HCM City is step by step expanding its operation and improving the training quality for lecturers and students based on the international standards on foreign languages. For that reason, on the 23rd of June 2016, IEG Vietnam – representative of iGroup in Vietnam – officially announced the signing of cooperation with Nong Lam University – HCM City about the providing of the online English course – Connected English.
The signing ceremony was held in the main hall of Nong Lam University – HCM City with the presence of the following delegates:
· Professor - Doctor Nguyễn Hay – Principal of the University
· Mr. Đào Đức Tuyên – Director of the Nong Lam Language Center
· Mr. Sam Ezra Loose – CEO of Knowledge Transmission from Cambridge
· Mrs. Phạm Thị Diễm – Director of IEG Vietnam – representative of iGroup Corporation in Vietnam
· Mr. Mai Anh Thảo – Head of marketing department of IEG Vietnam
After the signing, both parties exchanged gifts and flowers to mark the milestone of their cooperation. Also in the ceremony, Mr. Sam Ezra Loose spoke highly of the firm development of Nong Lam University – HCM City during recent time in terms of both the scale and quality of the university’s training programs. The publisher commited to support the university in providing English training for students and lecturers, and hoped that the university would continue to develop the scale and quality of their training.
